MPDV has been a Software Partner of SAP AG for
many years and currently maintains more than
300 major HYDRA implementations in the SAP environment.
MPDV helps you to make the best use of the HYDRA modules
most relevant to your needs through interaction with your
SAP functions, closing the gap between production
processes and the management level.
For data exchange with the SAP-HR
and SAP-PP modules, HYDRA uses the following communication channels:
- KK1 (PDC-CC1),
- KK2 (PDC-CC2),
- PP-PDC,
- HR-PDC,
- QM-IDI

In conjunction with future users,
employees at our in-house SAP
Competence Center develop concepts
to define solutions to meet
specific requirements, which will
ultimately be put into practice.
HYDRA easily interfaces with other SAP modules including:
- Materials Management (MM) via the MOB interface
- Quality Management (QM) via QM-IDI
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) via the communication channel 3
- Project System (PS) via the communication channel 4
- Controlling (CO), and the
- Planning module for process industries (PP-PI).
To support state-of-the-art
SAP NetWeaver technology, MPDV is proud
to be the first German MES-Partner to have received the
“Powered by SAP NetWeaver”
certification in 2004, which includes the “Certified
for SAP NetWeaver” certificate.
HYDRA supports and complements mySAP ERP with a broad range of
MES-functions:
- Within SAP-integrated online screens (Manufacturing
Dashboards), HYDRA provides current and actual information
as well as evaluations about the production environment
– just as with the
normal SAP-environment familiar to you (SAP-GUI or
Enterprise Portal).
- HYDRA is a substantial part of SAP’s “Adaptive
Manufacturing” initiative, with the aim of
closely integrating business processes with production
control in order to quickly and flexibly react to rapidly
changing market conditions ...

Beyond the well-developed and extremely close integration possible via
the certified PP-PDC, HR-PDC and QM-IDI interfaces, HYDRA can also
be connected to any application on the SAP
NetWeaver platform through SAP´s XI 3.0 communication software.
